Joint meeting with Kofu and Matsumoto Toastmasters Club

We held a joint meeting for the first time. It was a fun meeting with Matsumoto TMC. There are many participants and a happy scream that the role is not enough! !!

Date and time: October 24, 2020, 2:00 PM-

Normally, our meeting is held from 7:30 PM on the 4th Saturday, but this time we changed it to 2 pm. It was a very fun meeting, so I would like to hold it again. I received the report from Mr. TM MT of Matsumoto TMC, so it is a turning point. Thank you, TM MT.

初めて合同例会を開催しました。松本TMCとの合同例会で、楽しい例会になりました。参加者が多く、役割が足らないという嬉しい悲鳴が！！

通常は、我々のミーティングは、第４土曜日、PM７：３０ー　から開催ですが、今回は午後2時から開催に変更して実施しました。とても楽しい例会でしたので、また実施したいと思います。レポートを松本TMCのTM　MTさんから頂きましたので、転機いまします。TM　MTさん、ありがとうございます。

1. “Building a Social Media Presence” by MT (Matsumoto TMC)

All members are unique. This is the same for my club officers. We can accomplish many things in our club by creating a place where people can reach their full potential. For example, recruiting new members can be very difficult, but it's important to continue your club. All clubs are unique. By gathering, discussing, and respecting each other, we were able to understand the characteristics of the club. This effort has allowed us to develop a social media strategy.

一人一人に個性があります。 これは私のクラブ役員も同じです。 人々が最大限の可能性を発揮できる場所を作ることで、クラブで多くのことを成し遂げることができます。たとえば、新会員の勧誘は非常に難しい場合がありますが、クラブを継続するには必要です。すべてのクラブはユニークです。 集まって話し合い、尊重し合うことで、クラブの特徴を理解することができました。 この努力により、ソーシャルメディア戦略を開発することができました。

2. 『やればできる』日本語スピーチ by RS (Matsumoto TMC)

以前の自分は全くスピーチをやらなかった。これまでいつもスピーチの機会から逃げ続けてきた。しかし、三顧の礼*でPTA会長に祭り上げられ、スピーチは逃れられない状況に。スピーチ向上のために、トーストマスターの門を叩き、スピーチ向上の道にまっしぐら。ネタが尽きた時に、トーストマスターズ日本支部の論評コンテストのテストスピーチ（バイクでのウィリーの練習の日々）を聞いて、スピーチは『身近な話』、『飾らない、リアルな体験でいい』ことを実感。今日、人前で話すのは苦手というトラウマを克服することができた。 *三顧の礼（さんこのれい）とは、故事成語のひとつ。 目上の人が格下の者の許に三度も出向いてお願いをすること（Wikipedia）。

3. "The coaching and mentoring" by SD (Kofu TMC)
The speaker explained the difference between coaching and mentoring.
- coaching: for teaching a specific skill (short term)
- mentoring: getting involved, not for just a specific skill (long term)
Then the speaker implied how important mentoring was for new toastmaster members.

スピーカーは、コーチングとメンタリングの違いを説明しました。
-コーチング：特定のスキルを教えるため（短期）
-メンタリング：特定のスキルだけでなく、参加する（長期）
次に、スピーカーは、新しいトーストマスターメンバーにとってメンタリングがいかに重要であるかを示唆しました。

4. 『愛燦燦（あいさんさん）』日本語スピーチ　by TN (Kofu TMC)

写真撮影活動の話。音楽の題名を選び、それに沿った写真を出典する写真コンテストに参加しました。有名な美空ひばりさんの『愛燦燦（あいさんさん）』を題名に選び、真冬の北海道でタンチョウ鶴の撮影に向かった。
マイナス30度の中で撮影を行い、人生の厳しさも併せて実感。
マイナス30度の中で撮影した写真をもって、師匠を訪ねるとダメだし（撮影旅行費用は.....)
8月のコンテストまで時間がない。コロナで動けないその中で、コンテスト用にある雨の中に未来を映した写真を撮影。（写真撮影をするとき、未来等なかり意味づけをして撮影することにびっくり。）

IN GENERAL

Quite a frequent used of Word of Day “authentic” by many speakers! The first joint meeting of Kofu and Matsumoto TMCs came to be a unique and authentic experience for the attending members!

The officers from both clubs proactively planned the joint meeting. Despite the change of the meeting time for Kofu members, despite an instant failure of the headphones for an evaluator, despite the small differences between both clubs in carrying out regular meetings, the meeting went smoothly with lots of laughs.Thank you to all the contributors!!

多くの講演者がWord of the dayの「authentic」を使って話をしました。 甲府と松本TMCの最初の合同会議は、参加メンバーにとってユニークで本物の体験となりました！

両クラブの役員は積極的に合同会議を計画しました。 甲府会員の打ち合わせ時間の変更にも関わらず、評価者用ヘッドホンが一瞬で故障したにも関わらず、両クラブの定例打ち合わせの違いはわずかでしたが、大笑いしました。すべての貢献者に感謝します！
